Right-size every Shopify order. Automatically.
We're building a Shopify app on CartonPilot's packing engine - the one that cut carrier spend 37% at published Ground list rates in our reproducible benchmark. Join the waitlist and get access first.
What we're building
Three things, in merchant language - no API integration required.
Box recommendation at fulfillment
Every order gets the cheapest viable carton (or carton mix) from your own box lineup - before your packer reaches for the usual medium box.
Dimensional-weight flags
Orders that would bill above their actual weight get flagged, with the box swap that fixes it. Carriers bill the greater of actual and dimensional weight.
Box lineup report
See which carton sizes actually earn their spot in your warehouse, and what adding or dropping a size would do to your parcel count.
Be first in line at launch.
One email when the app ships. Store URL and order volume help us prioritize what to build first - both optional.
Audit a typical order right now - free, no signup.
Paste a typical multi-item order (or a CSV export) and the production engine shows parcels saved, box spend, and estimated FedEx/UPS Ground cost.
Your order
| Item | L | W | H | lb | Qty | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Audited against a standard 7-box corrugated line-up using a first-fit baseline vs. cartonpilot-ultra.
Add your items and run the audit to see how many parcels and how much box spend CartonPilot can cut.
Shopify app FAQ
When does the Shopify app launch?
The app is in development. Waitlist members get access first and we'll email you exactly once at launch. In the meantime the underlying REST API is live today, and the free audit on this page runs the same engine with no signup.
What will the app do?
The plan: recommend the cheapest viable box (or boxes) for each order at fulfillment time using your own carton lineup, flag orders paying dimensional weight for air, and report which carton sizes earn their spot. All of this is powered by the same engine behind our published benchmark.
What will it cost?
App pricing isn't final. The API it's built on starts free (1,000 items/month, no credit card) with paid plans from $49/month.
Can I use CartonPilot with my Shopify store today, before the app?
Yes. The REST API is live - your developer or agency can call it from your fulfillment flow now. The API docs and a free plan cover integration testing end to end.
How will the app handle my store's data?
The app will request the minimum scopes needed to read order line items and product dimensions for packing optimization. Details are in the app privacy policy on this site.
